Selective colour in photography is traditionally when you choose a single object (or several) of the same colour to keep in colour and turn the rest of the image black and white. It is also something that is seen as extremely cliché and quite often gets bashed in photography communities. There are of course occasions where selective colour does add something to the image but quite often this is not the case. In the image below, it was just for me to try it out. I mean, every photographer has to do it at least once right?
